  7.  
  8. Ordinary DOS and Windows file deletes are NOT secure. The file is
  9. merely marked as deleted but the data in the file is still sitting
  10. on the disk. Any undelete program or disk scan program can access the
  11. data on the disk.  It remains that way until another file happens to
  12. overwrite the disk area.
  13.  
  14. Garbage Can will take care of the security problem that occurs with
  15. an ordinary file delete. We GUARANTEE the deleted file can NOT be
  16. recovered.

  20. Windows 95 version.  Allows processing of long file names.

  25. It allows you to 'Drag And Drop' files from the Windows File Manager
  26. program on to the minimized icon.  Any file dragged on to
  27. the icon will then be processed according to the way you have the
  28. program options set.

  31.              FILE MANAGER EXTENSION VERSION (CANF16.DLL)

  33. This version attachs itself to the Windows File Manager program.  The
  34. program appears as an icon that you can drag files on.  The menu will
  35. be attached to the File Manager menu.  The program will automatically
  36. start when you start the File Manager.  You need to edit the File
  37. Manager initialization file (winfile.ini) to use this version.  See
  38. the Garbage Can help file for additional details.

  101. of them anyway. We track our projects by date. The date that appears
  102. on this documentation and in the 'About' dialog is the release date.
